Chashu is a Japanese word meaning sliced pork for ramen. Hero's Tonkotsu or Miso Ramen has 3 slices, and Plain Tonkotsu or Miso ramen has 1 slice in each bowl.
To make every chashu tasty, we add one more process to make it better, which is burning each slice as the picture shows. This one process make the chashu tasty and the total ramen taste get much deeper.
